What is ACLS?

ACLS is an acronym for Advanced Cardiac Life Support, a series of protocols and clinical interventions that are used to manage life threatening medical emergencies such as cardiac arrest or other emergencies. We train health providers and professionals in the latest approved ACLS protocols and clinical interventions.

Do I receive an ACLS certification card if I pass the exam?

Yes, immediately upon passing the final you will be sent a printable PDF certification card. You will also receive a hard copy ACLS certification card in the mail. Both certification cards will have your name, the date you passed the exam, our instructor's name and medical license information, and the date that your ACLS certification expires.

Yes, our course can be taken for initial ACLS certification. Our course is intended for anyone that requires ACLS certification. You do not need any prior knowledge of ACLS topics in order to become certified with our course. Our course and exam were created by certified physicians. The training material covers all of the major topics of ACLS certification, and we offer you unlimited free exam retakes as well.

Can I recertify with this online ACLS course?

Yes, our course can be taken for ACLS recertification. Medical providers and others who have obtained ACLS certification in the past may recertify with our online ACLS training program. We offer an up-to-date study guide authored by AHA certified physicians and an extensive database of practice exams for those who would like to review any ACLS topics before taking the exam.

Is there a rush delivery ACLS certification option?

Yes, you will immediately receive a digital printable ACLS certification card with your name via email once you pass the exam. You may obtain your instantaneous digital ACLS certification card 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

When does my hard copy ACLS certification card arrive?

If you select regular shipping, your hard copy card will arrive between 2-5 business days from the day you pass the ACLS exam. If you select next day shipping your card will arrive in 1 business day after you pass the ACLS exam.

How long does my ACLS certification remain active?

Your certification will remain active for 2 calendar years from the day that you pass the exam.

Do I receive continuing education credits for this course?

Yes, you will receive 8 continuing education credits for certification and 4 continuing education credits for recertification.

Can I get a refund if I am not satisfied with this course?

Yes, you have 60 days to try our course risk free. If for any reason you are not satisfied with our course, you may obtain a full refund as long as you request one before you attempt the ACLS exam.

How quickly do I get my exam results?

Exam results are instantaneous and will show which questions you missed and answered correctly. You will also receive an email with your full results when you pass the final exam.

Is there any time limit for the exam?

The ACLS exam has no time limit, so you can take as much time as you need on the exam. You may also print the exam, take it, and later input your answers online.

Can I retake the exam if I don't pass?

The exam may be retaken as many times as you wish in the case that you do not pass on your first attempt. You will receive information on which questions you missed on your first attempt so that you can study those sections.

Are all of your training materials online?

All of our training materials are online including our comprehensive study guide and unlimited unique practice exams. We do not require the purchase of any extra manuals or supplementary material in order for you to study and prepare for the exam.

Is there a clinical skills test?

We do not have a clinical skills testing portion, and our course is 100% online. If your place of employment or organization requires a clinical skills test, you may still sign up for our course. We will give you directions on how to obtain credit for your clinical skills test at your employer or at a local organization.

Is your organization accredited?

Yes, our organization is fully accredited by the National Board for Emergency Continuing Medical Education. Anyone who completes our course is eligible for 8 continuing education units for ACLS certification and 4 continuing education units for ACLS recertification. 

Is your course Mac/PC/Tablet PC/Smartphone compatible?

Yes, our course is compatible with both Macintosh and PC computers as well as tablet PCs and every major smartphone.

What do I do if I lost my ACLS card?

Just Contact Us and we will mail you a replacement card at no extra cost. 

Is your course material based on the new ACLS guidelines?

Yes, our course material is based on the most current ACLS guidelines which were last updated in 2010.
