The College World Series features the best Division I college baseball teams and is held in Omaha in June annually. Omaha also has numerous historical and cultural attractions such as the Omaha Community Playhouse, the largest community theater in the United States. The Omaha Symphony Orchestra is one of the city’s top performing arts attractions. They play at the Holland Performing Arts Center. Other performing groups include the Omaha Opera who performs at the Orpheum Theater and the Blue Barn Theater. The Omaha Children’s Museum has interactive exhibits in which children can learn about science and technology through play. Omaha also features a downtown historical district with shops, restaurants, bars, and art galleries. The district was listed on the National Register of Historical Places Today. The Omaha Botanical Gardens has 100 acres and a multitude of types of landscaping.
