The climate of Phoenix is the hottest out of any major city. The climate is desert arid with temperate winters. The Phoenix Art Museum is the largest visual art institute in the Southwestern U.S. The Phoenix Zoo is a popular tourist attraction with 1,300 animals, and it is the largest non-profit zoo in the United States.
